Anonymo

November 25th, 2025

I started playing the game Stray Children and got inspired to model the protagonist and cover him in paintrbush strokes.

This is my first fanart project to make use of Blender's Brushstroke Tools add-on! It's not just a shell-textured voronoi shader like the Sparkle On Raven project, those are actual brushstrokes covering the model placed both procedurally and manually, with some random jitter between frames!

I also made use of SpaghetMeNot's normalMagic toolset for the hair.

This one...has no audio. Feel free to keep this muted.

A 3D model of the Anonymo's face from Stray Children
I started by block-modeling the head.
Anyonymo's head but with a zipper now and his hair is more interconnected.
I changed up the shaders and gave him his famous Zipper. Also used the aforementioned tools on his hair.
3D model of a cartoonish body. The legs are noticeably thin.
My son is built like a rotisserie chicken, but it's because his legs are thin in the promo artwork.
3D model of red clown-type shoes. Big ones.

A T-posing model of Anonymo, without his backpack.
Most of his features were complete, but there's something missing...
A view of Anonymo's backpack.
Backpack for his Ribbit Chips~! or however that song goes.
A close-up of Anonymo's sweater, showing the pockets.
I wasn't sure whether or not to give him pockets since you normally can't see them too well in-game. But then I got to the part where Anonymo gets inflated big and round and he had pockets.

And this is the point where I fully decided that he should be covered in paint.
T-posing painted Anonymo, but the base model is white and the brushstrokes are a muddy brown.
The default solid-view color for the brushstrokes are a muddy brown for some reason. But I guess it shows that this is more than just a shader effect.
